WWNN presents a solo exhibition 《Shells and Stems》 by Berlin-based artist Jaehong Ahn, on view through November 21.
Through scenes where the human and the non-human, the artificial
and the natural intersect, Ahn explores the order and boundaries of reality
that we have taken for granted. In quiet, dense paintings, familiar objects and
spaces are placed in unfamiliar relationships, and existing classifications and
hierarchies slowly begin to waver.
In this exhibition, the artist illuminates the cracks latent
beneath a seemingly stable reality and the tension between different ways of
being.
